Arthritis is a medical condition that makes the joints inflamed, stiff and as a result painful. Contrary to popular belief, arthritis is not an old timer, today even young people are getting it.in fact, statistics show that one in every five people are suffering from a type of arthritis. Factors such as genes, unhealed injury, allergies, diet and overworking are said to be the causes of arthritis.

1. Rheumatoid-this is the most common form of arthritis affecting mostly women over 30.it causes inflammation and pain in small joints like hands and fingers.
2. Osteoarthritis-as the second most common type, this one affects the knees, lower back, wrists and neck.
3. Juvenile-as the name suggests, this is any type of arthritis that affects children’s joints.

1. Pain. Arthritis starts with mild pain early in the morning, when it’s cold or when you move the affected joint.
2. Swelling as the condition progresses.
5. Fever and loss of appetite are associated with juvenile and infectious arthritis.
6. Weight loss since the disease eats away muscles and bones.
Treatments of Arthritis
Today there are many ways to treat and manage arthritis such as drugs, physical therapy, exercise and injections. Doctors usually advise one to start with the natural methods while the drugs are used when pain is extreme. Here are some of the natural treatments that work wonders on all types of arthritis;
1. Herbs and Ayurvedic Remedies
Some of the causes of arthritis include diet, bad lifestyle and stress. All these factors contribute to failure in the digestive system and as a result some foods are undigested and left to become toxic.
Ayurveda is a very old treatment method that uses a combination of herbs to clean the toxic substances from the colon before they go to the bones.
