Average temperatures are 85 in the summer, 75 in fall, 70 in winter and 75 in the spring. LA gets an average of 320 days of sun a year, so chances are good your beach vacation will go off without a hitch regardless of when you visit. Though, January and February are the rainiest months so be prepared. If you are coming in May, June or July, there may be a bit of a fog-like cloud which can affect the beach, particularly in the mornings.
