Such was its liking and popularity in the country. The Mahindra Xylo is a multi-purpose vehicle designed with lots of space inside and a more powerful engine. A revamped version of the Xylo was launched recently which includes a host of new features and mechanics.
Mahindra Xylo is a huge vehicle with a length of 4525 mm, width of 1770 mm and height at 1880 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2760 mm and a good ground clearance of 186 mm. The beige interiors are quite luxurious and spacious. Seven to nine people can easily find space in a Mahindra Xylo along with luggage. Moreover, they can be assured of enough headspace and knee room. The dashboard, centre console and steering wheel all are quite uniquely styled. Good quality padding and plastics are used in the interiors of the Xylo. There are many storage spaces inside like the large glove compartment, bottle and cup holders, spectacle holder, foldable snack trays, front seat back pockets, storage in the centre console and smaller storage space in the doors.
Steering mounted audio controls, cruise control, voice command for headlights, leather furnishings and wipers, DIN Audio with USB interface and twin airbags, digital drive assist, central locking system, remote fuel lid opener, anti-glare rear view mirror along with sun visor for the driver and front co-passenger, digital display unit, cruise control, engine immobilizer, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, door ajar warning lights, central locking etc. are only few of the safety and comfort features.

However the latest Xylo E9 gets the ever reliable and powerful m-HAWK engine which makes 120 bhp at 4000 rpm and has a healthy 280 NM of torque between 2400-2800 rpm. The m-HAWK engine is mated to an all-new 5 speed 5MT320 gearbox.
