Valentine’s Day, as it has become, is a busy day for many couples. Stressed out on looking for the perfect gift for their partner, they miss out on the real essence of Valentine’s Day. February 14th is all about celebrating the love you share with your boyfriend, or husband. So instead of joining the busy crowd, do something different this year and sparkle this special day with love for him. Now, you won’t have to get all stressed out with every restaurant you know in town being fully booked.
Tip #1: Stay at Home
If you and your partner have been very busy lately with work, looking after your kids (if you have), and what have you, staying at home is a perfect gift for both of you. Think of it as a day off from all kinds of stressful things. Take a break. Cuddle for as long as you want. Watch a movie. Stay in bed all day. Do whatever you want! But don’t forget to give him a gift so as to make the day special.
Tip #2: Have a Spa Day
Again, this is for the couples who have been exhausted lately. Take a break and spend the whole day with her while both of you are relaxing. Or, you can buy sensual oils and whatnot, and massage each other at home! Who knows what happens after all the massaging and stuff?
Tip #3: Wear a Sexy Lingerie
What can beat a sexy, romantic, and intimate night on the 14th of February? Have your husband go out for an errand. While his out, make a trail out of rose petals from the front door to your bedroom. Make the lights go dim. You can just turn off your lights and replace them with scented candles if you want. Surprise him with your sexy get up. You can buy new lingerie from a surplus of sexy Valentine’s Day dresses online or from the store nearest you. Enjoy an intimate night!
Tip #4: Write Him a Love Letter
Surely, your husband would appreciate to hear, or read, your thoughts and feelings, especially if you have been busy with other things like work or taking care of your kids. This is the perfect time to build and strengthen your relationship. Tell him how much you love him. Remind him how you felt for him, head over heels. Write your letter, yes, using pen and paper, beforehand. Then, you can read it to him over a candlelight dinner. If the situation allows it, ask him about his thoughts, too. The simplest way to communicate your love is just chatting during a romantic dinner.
Tip #5: Get Him Something He Really Wants
If you ever caught your man staring at a beautiful watch at the mall, secretly buy it and give it to him as your valentine gift. You can also buy him tickets for that sport game he really wants to watch. Just spy on him and wait for hints.
And when you’re giving him the gift, don’t just hand it to him. Send him on a hunt. Make questions or puzzles only he knows the answer. It would be best if they were related to him or your relationship.
