How To Boost Your Fertility
Trying to get pregnant can be a frustrating endeavor. If you want kids more than anything in the world you may be at a boiling point after months or even years of trying to conceive. Make the blanket decision to block out any negative influences in your life to raise your vibe and to increase the chances of getting pregnant. Well-meaning parents, friends and co-workers may not intend to do so but their worry, their anxiety and their pressure, can affect your mood which lowers your chances of conceiving. Managing your energy plays a chief roll in whether or not you are able to get pregnant.
Use these tips to boost your fertility.
Men Should Mind their DNA
Protecting your sperm should be a priority if you want to increase the likelihood of having children. Stay away from exposing your testicles to hot temperatures for extended periods as the intense heat may affect your sperm. This means no long, hot, soaking baths after a hard day’s work if you are trying to have kids. Don’t buy into the boxer/briefs deal either. Contrary to popular belief you shouldn’t switch to briefs to boost your fertility.
Do be aware of placing your laptop on your lap while working. Being exposed to this heat source could adversely affect your sperm. Ditto on carrying your cell phone around in your pocket. Cell phone radiation can mess with things down there. Wear a clip or keep the phone buried in a shirt pocket while you’re trying to boost your fertility.
Women Watch Your Weight
Controlling your weight can increase your fertility. Find your optimal weight by eating right and exercising regularly. Don’t get too thin and don’t pack on too many pounds because if you’re too skinny or too heavy you may have trouble conceiving. Avoid any delays in getting pregnant. Find your healthy weight by skipping the fad diets, the intense workout sessions or by avoiding too much weight gain. You do your body no good by intentionally packing on pounds just to get pregnant.
Keep Away from Coffee or Alcohol
This one’s for the ladies. Too much alcohol or coffee consumption may affect your fertility levels. Skip the cup of Joe and put the beer out in the trash to boost your fertility. If you love your coffee it’s OK to drink 1 or 2 cups daily. Just keep things to a minimum. Make getting pregnant your priority. Get enough sleep and de-stress through vehicles like meditation to lessen your coffee habit.
Ditto on alcohol. Drinking beer, wine or other spirits can reduce your chances of getting pregnant. Limit alcohol consumption to 1 drink a day if that. Consume healthier drinks like fresh fruit juices. Bump up your water intake to stay hydrated and to curb any craving for a cold one.
Toss out the Cigarettes
Smoking hurts both men and women who want to have kids. Boost your fertility by kicking this habit for good. Men can keep sperm count levels high and women can increase the chances of conceiving by simply ceasing to smoke. Even though this may seem like a Herculean task to heavy smokers you can do it. Shift your perspective. Does a five minute nicotine fix mean more to you than starting your family? See the big picture. Toss out the cigarettes. Boost your fertility.
